"After school, I followed in Argentina studies in civil engineering, where I developed a deep interest on the theoretical aspects of structural mechanics. I had the chance to participate in an exchange program organized by the DAAD, which brought me to the RUB for the first time back in 2014. There, I had the possibility to take part of several courses, included the ones offered by CompEng.

After finishing my studies, I decided to come back to Germany and apply to CompEng to further develop my skills in computational analysis. The career is highly international. I had the chance to meet several cultures. To make the start easier, the coordination office will help the students with organisation and administration aspects. The huge campus offers a lot of possibilities. My favourite is the gastronomic. The mensa, together with the cafeterias and food trucks was my favourite meeting point.

During the studies I had the possibility to work as student assistant at the chair of concrete structures, where I also wrote my master thesis in the field of topology optimization. I liked the academic world, so I stayed to pursue a PhD at the same chair.
In summary, I had an excellent experience while studying CompEng, both academically and socially. I highly recommend it to any person with interest in the field of computational mechanics."
